CSSC Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. has finished building a stream of large ships since the beginning of this year. On January 16, two 70,000-tonne woodchip carriers were undocked following two 210,000-tonne bulk cargo ships, marking a milestone. “Our yard is occupied with orders until 2026. We are in a full capacity after production resumed after the Spring Festival.” According to Gu Kechao, deputy general manager of CSSC Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., the yard has orders on hand of as many as 51 ships with a total carrying capacity of 8.365mln tonnes, including one 5,500TEUs container ship, one 210,000-tonne LNG dual fuel bulk cargo ship and Ammonia Ready bulk cargo ships, etc.

  CSSC Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. unremittingly broadens its business  buckling the latest prosperity cycle co-driven by market demand, phase-out of aged ships and conventions on environmental protection. The company secured numerous orders of 210,000-tonnes bulk cargo ships last year, leading the world in both new orders and orders on hand of the type of ship.
